Burst Horns describe themselves as a weekly self help music group, meeting at 9am every Friday for coffee and playing. The band is Ben’s chance to arrange tunes he loves and explore soloing, texture and harmony with the happy but challenging limit of three voices.
They’ve recently added beats to the mix channelled through some guitar fx pedals to bring a new energy to the tunes.

Yoshizawa is an eerie jazz/prog band who create refreshing musical landscapes to connect and communicate with their audiences. They recently played an enormous show at the Royal Albert Hall in London backed by a full orchestra.
Through their playing they bring a new conversation to a wide range of music. Their performances deliver a whole truckload of energy, with driving drums and synth bass underpinning soaring flutes and guitars.
Bandleader Amelie Yoshizawa writes without words in order to express and create voices for the working class in art.

Reflecting on the contemporary yet timeless struggles of physical and ideological displacement, Valia Calda’s music draws inspiration from the themes of migration and exile. The groups 2023 album ‘Homeland’ received several ‘Best of…’ awards and widespread radio play.
Their music is rooted in both the folk music of Epirus in Greece and psychedelic jazz, tangled with punk inspired guitar riffs and hypnotic improvisations.
Valia Calda integrates a wide spectrum of sounds, mixing their long meditative improvisations and psychedelic aesthetics with elements from folk traditions and explosive drum beats.
